Lesson Summaries (Apologies, Jim)

Jim did a great job on the summary page, especially since he put together everything from our original proposals.  I should have started this post earlier (my summary is buried on the comments from my post about my page.

Summary: This activity allows students to use technology to research methods of disposal/ways to recycle electronics products. Students will view/critique videos about the issue, then search the web for appropriate solutions. Students will work collaboratively to decided on the best solutions for a certain local and publish these findings to a webpage. This lesson is designed to solve authentic problems.

My summary on my proposal was kind of flip - so I'd prefer this one be used.

Would anyone else like to torture Jim with changes?

Changes/Updates to the group page are really very easy and I anticipated several. Please review your section and let me know if and what you want revised.

Cate, I'll update your summary later today.

We are not to change the basic layout of the group page since it is the template we are to submit. Therefore I cannot "pretty" it up.

Yes, I figured that out from her posts. Ah well, the 'aura' of them will be prettier, I'm sure, even if the layout can't change.

This lesson plan will invite students to research a topic in order to not only learn more about a topic, but to allow them to answer the question of "Who was William Shakespeare and did he really write those plays?" Once students have identified the mystery behind the authorship, they will investigate and organize information in order to debate the true merits of the suspected true authors of plays like As You Like It, Romeo and Juliet, and MacBeth.
Please note that those titles should be italicized but the Google Blog would not let me!

Your updates have been made and uploaded. Please feel free to make as many changes as you deem necessary. I'll update regularly.

Hi all,
Please feel free to modify the "aura" of the page. The basic template was just a resource. Some groups do not have as tech-savvy a person as you do!!
Please feel free to adjust the group summary page!
